Service Description

These sessions focus specifically on supporting children with dyslexia and/or dyscalculia. The session will be held with an expert teacher with many years' experience of teaching children with specific learning difficulties; most of which affect everyday learning in schools and relationships out side of school. All children should, and can, feel confident with their learning. Our steady pace allows children to build strategies which work for them and allows them an opportunity to apply the strategies learnt to everyday situations. Very often, dyslexia and dyscalculia are overlooked in schools. Furthermore, many schools aren't sure how best to support their students with these specific difficulties; this results in children being left behind and not given the support they need. Unfortunately, this leads to bigger learning gaps and lower self-esteem. Our patience and understanding of yours and your child's situation means we all work together to create excellent outcomes for your child and give them the confidence to question, understand and build a solid foundation for learning. It's important that your child believe's they're part of their class and feels confident that they too can follow the curriculum successfully, just as everyone else in the class does! Let's look forwards to a more positive approach to education and show your child that they are valued.

Cancellation Policy

During the COVID-19 pandemic, if you need to rearrange, sessions are more flexible and may be rearranged at the tutor's discretion. If a session is missed and not cancelled, we will endeavour to rearrange sessions, which will be at the tutor's discretion. All sessions must be paid for online in advance. No refund will be given if a session is missed or cancelled later than 24 hours prior to session start time.
