Is Your Child Struggling with Focus, Motivation, or Organisation?
If your child finds it hard to stay focused, complete homework, manage daily routines, or cope with school demands, you’re not alone. These common challenges may be signs of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or attention deficit disorder (ADD). Poor attention, emotional outbursts, and difficulty following instructions can seriously impact family life.
Whether or not your child has a diagnosis, the good news is: you can support them now.
Early, tailored support helps children develop the organisational skills, emotional tools, and life skills they need to thrive in school and in daily life.
Why Support Doesn’t Have to Wait
Understanding ADHD Diagnosis in the UK
Getting an ADHD diagnosis through the NHS can take 3–4 years, while private assessments often cost thousands and still involve long waiting times. Understandably, this leaves many parents of children feeling stuck.
But the truth is, you don’t need a diagnosis to start managing symptoms. In fact, for many families, ADHD coaching fills the gap - providing structure, accountability, and strategies that reduce stress at home, in school, and in social situations.
Our coaching approach is rooted in management over diagnosis. We believe in helping children succeed with the brain they have right now, not waiting years for a label.

ADHD Often
Co-occurs with Dyslexia and Dyscalculia
ADHD rarely exists in isolation. Many children experience co-occurring learning differences, such as:
-
Dyslexia – reading, spelling, and writing difficulties
-
Dyscalculia – challenges with numbers, sequencing, and time
These overlaps can make educational needs more complex, especially when not fully recognised by school systems.
Coaching helps children with combined needs build core functionality by developing real strategies for reading, time management, memory, revision, and emotional coping.
What Does Coaching Involve?
Our 1:1 ADHD coaching for ages 7–18 focuses on personalised support, built around the experiences of children with:

Do we need a diagnosis to begin ADHD coaching? No. Many children we work with haven't been diagnosed, and may never need to be. We focus on supporting what's in front of us: behaviour, emotions, and learning needs.
-
Is this therapy? No. ADHD coaching is goal-oriented and skill-based, not counselling. However, we can recommend therapists or NHS services if needed.
-
Where are sessions held?Sessions are available online UK-wide, and home visits may be available in Sheffield, Worksop, and Rotherham.
-
How soon can we start? We usually have space to begin within 1–2 weeks. Flexible evening and weekend slots available.
-
What if school says we need a diagnosis? We can help you prepare for meetings with SENCOs and provide written reports to evidence your child's needs, even without a diagnosis.
-
Do you work with children who have EHCPs or receive extra time?Yes. We're experienced in supporting children with EHCPs, IEPs, and access arrangements (including extra time, scribes, etc.) through both coaching and advocacy.
