Welcome to our Sensory Room! This large room is separate to our Classroom and provides students with a nurturing space to regulate. We maintain high expectations for all students allowing them to access our sensory room daily based on their individual needs. Our dedicated SENDCos and teachers understand each student is unique and supports their learning at their own pace. We collaborate closely with schools and parents, sharing daily successes, and prioritising language-rich environments to enhance vocabulary and emotional well-being.

 

Our nurturing indoor provision ensures a safe space for students grow in confidence, with access to the sensory room and opportunities for activities, including school trips and visits from musicians, artists, and STEM specialists. We take a holistic approach education, allowing students to pursue the GCSE or  Functional Skills pathway, while providing the sanctuary they need, with a strong focus on Autistic Spectrum Condition and Emotional Based School Avoidance.
